What Is Monel K-500?
Monel K-500 is a precipitation-hardenable nickel-copper alloy containing controlled additions of aluminum and titanium.
It retains much of the corrosion resistance associated with Monel 400 while providing higher strength and hardness after suitable heat treatment. This combination makes the alloy suitable for components exposed to seawater, mechanical loading, erosion and demanding industrial environments.
